When I had some special circumstances with my funding you were very flexible in working with me to propose something that met both my painting needs and budget.

You took the extra time to come out repeatedly with samples to treat one board so that I could choose a color. And when there was ultimately an error in mixing at the paint store you immediately saw that not only was the error corrected but I ended up with repainting done at no cost to me. "We had 9 rooms/areas in our house painted. We have a lot of big windows and cherry wood work throughout the house. We requested 2 coats of paint as we selected darker paint colors to cover white walls. Rooms included: one bedroom with valted ceiling, bathroom, 2 story entry/foyer, kitchen, family room, living room, garage entry/mud room and office. We had Rich and 3 other contractors come over to provide an estimate on 9 rooms/areas in our house. We interviewed 1 large company that used sub-contractors and 3 small businesses. Rich did a great job explaining exactly what to expect. Including the timing of the project, materials used, daily schedule and completion date. He made recommendations along the way as well. He reviewed and helped us select colors...I have to admit this part of his skill set and service surprised me but the colors look GREAT!! He was not pushy at all and answered every question we had in person, via email and phone before, during and after our project. His responses were always quick and contained the information we needed and asked for. We were/are VERY happy with the work that was done. We have a lot of cherry wood work in our house and didn't want paint all over it. Rich did a great job cutting in the paint around the windows and wood work without getting any on the wood work!! Also, the ceiling lines are perfect. As you can tell we more than a little particular and are very happy with the work. The painting looks great and I have already recommended Matsen Painting to friends."

"I emailed Rich at Matsen Painting a few months back for an estimate for some internal and external painting I needed to get done. Boy, was I surprised when Rich wrote back and asked that we speak or meet in person right away to get some details hammered out. Within 24 hours Rich had come by, provided (very reasonable) estimates on the projects that I offered up and even offered to help my wife pick out colors. When painting day rolled around, Rich was did a fantastic job. You really could not pick out an easier going, friendlier, or more reasonably prices painting outfit. Did I mention trustworthy? His work is meticulous and work ethic beyond reproach. This job was not without it's challenges. My home is sixty-one years old with rock-lath and plaster. Your crew did a great job and were both helpful and attentive to all the requirements needed to repair siding and caulking on the wooden exterior.
